Pfriem Breast Care Center’s Fairfield office, we offer both clinical expertise and tender, hands-on care for cancer patients and their families, with relaxing teas, special massages and the kind of support and understanding that can only come from people who have been through it themselves.
Our mission is to provide information about the options available, and to weave a personal network of support as you make your decisions, enter treatment and recover. Our knowledgeable nurses and social workers have extensive experience in caring for breast cancer patients
Our support, education and counseling includes:
- Wig fittings, bra and prosthetic fittings, nutritional counseling and massage therapy
- One-on-one education and counseling
- Relaxation techniques
- Support groups
- Public Events
- Patient Navigator Program - Bridgeport Hospital Patient Navigators (specially trained oncology nurses) are matched with patients and families to provide guidance through the journey of cancer care.
Lymphedema Support Group: For those with lymphedema or breast cancer, as well as cancer survivors, caregivers and families. Meets at The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Cancer Center, 111 Beach Road, Fairfield. For meeting days and times, please call 203-380-4672.
