hroughout treatment, you may feel afraid, angry, overwhelmed or alone. Our Patient Navigators and Licensed Clinical Social Workers are available to provide you with the support and services you need, at any stage. Services include:
- special programs for caregivers and children
- communication with medical teams
- home healthcare referrals
- information about community resources and Hospice care
Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers are available to any oncology patient in the hospital, pre- or post-treatment. Our bilingual social worker can assist patients who speak Spanish. Depending on your individual needs, services can include a psychosocial evaluation, counseling and resource referral services to cancer patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team assisting in patient care.
